We’re Offering Another Vision and Learning Link Workshop!
Did you miss our workshop last month? Because this is such vital information for our parents and educators, we’ve decided to offer it again in October. Join us to hear Dr. Myers discuss how vision and learning are connected and how to identify when your child or a child you work closely with might be struggling in this area. Students spend more than 75% of school time doing intense, visual work less than a foot from their eyes, but not all student’s vision can handle that intense workload. Thus, vision is an overlooked component of learning and reading problems. This workshop will give you practical tools to help children who are having trouble with learning. Learn how the way children “see” the world affects their behavior, how to build school performance by enhancing vision, and how to perform assessments and tests of vision skills.
The workshop will be held on October 16th from 6:30-8:30pm at the offices of Indiana Vision Development Center, 10343 Dawsons Creek Blvd, Building 6, Suite B in Fort Wayne. Please call Bree at 260.497.7973 to reserve your place. We look forward to seeing you here!
