As one of only eight currently practicing doctors in Indiana to have earned Fellowship in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (now the Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association), Dr. Carl Myers of Indiana Vision Development Center, PC, is a leading specialist in the treatment of learning-related vision problems, eye alignment, visual processing, and visually guided performance issues through the use of vision therapy. Dr. Myers also works with individuals who have acquired brain injuries (ABI), such as concussions and other trauma, as well as individuals who have had a stroke, to help them re-establish or improve their visual performance. Dr. Michelle Frye is a residency-trained optometrist, board certified through the American Board of Optometry, who has an extensive background in functional optometry. She is passionate about giving her patients exceptional care for not only their vision but the function of their visual system. She is interested in the management of learning-related vision problems, eye alignment, visual processing, and visually guided performance issues by using vision therapy techniques. She is continuously seeking out more knowledge by attending seminars, participating in on-line lectures, and reading current literature. This allows her to give the best care to her patient’s visual skills that give understanding and meaning to the world that they are in.
