This rewarding position involves working directly with children and adults to improve their visual system to enhance their education and daily life skills through Vision Therapy. A background in education, psychology or OTA is helpful, but not required.

We are looking for someone who is mature and reliable, and has the ability to learn new things, work independently, and multi-task. Must love kids! This unique and satisfying position is a great opportunity for the right person. All training will be provided by our office -- the biggest requirement is that you enjoy making a difference in someone’s life.

At Indiana Vision Development Center, we specialize in vision therapy. We work with children and adults that have vision problems that interfere with their reading and learning.

Job Description:

While working one on one with your patients you will:

-Perform a wide variety of training techniques on patients with a confident nature
-Collect and document patient results
-Communicate patient information to optometrist
-Communicate home activities with parents/guardians

Hours are part-time, with the potential to become full-time, and offer some flexibility. Some Saturday mornings are required and will be discussed at interview. The more available the individual is, the more hours are possible.
